Located on the Northern Highway, between Kilmore and Tooborac, lies the small hamlet of Pyalong on the banks of the picturesque Mollison Creek. It is predominantly a sheep and cattle district and is an area of rolling hills and magnificent granite boulders. Of special note are the trestle bridges common to the area, especially the one over Mollison Creek built around 1890. Pyalong offers a range of relaxing pastimes including horse-riding, fishing, golf and tennis and offers an affordable country lifestyle within easy reach of Melbourne.
